The Northwest Arkansas Naturals began their inaugural season here in Springdale on April 10, 2008. The Naturals moved here from Wichita, KS. They are the Double-A Affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. I decided to get season tickets. While I’m not a huge baseball fan, there was something that drew me to the Naturals and wanting to be a part of their first season here in northwest Arkansas. My camera has, of course, gone with me to each game. Here is a link to my complete Naturals photo collection, which will be added to as I attend more games. Joe Nichols, Rogers native, sang the national anthem on opening night.
The NWA Naturals take the field for the first time in Arvest Ballpark.
Shelby got Joe’s autograph and got her picture taken with them. It was the highlight of her evening.
