I have decided to participate in the 2008 Day of Blogs. The Day of Blogs is a fundraiser marathon of blogging. It involves blogging for 24 hours straight (at least 1 post every 30 minutes). The reason I am doing this is to raise money for the Victory Junction Gang Camp. (I plan on posting during the DoB about the Victory Junction Gang Camp. If you would like more information about it before then, click on this link.) I have added a widget on the right-hand side of my blog that I would like to encourage readers that are able to use to donate to VJGC either before, during, or up to 48 hours after the Day of Blogs. Whether or not you are able to financially support my cause, I would love for you stop by during the 24 hours and read the blogs I posted and comment. (I’ll need all the encouragement I can get to stay up for 24 hours straight. Haha!) During the day, I am going to be using the category of DayOfBlogs08 so you can easily access all of my entries that day.

What a great thing!

I wish I had some extra money to give, but gas is killing us right now.

However, I’m going to blog about what you’re doing tomorrow on my blog and post your badge on my blog, if I can to help you raise money! I did it last year and it’s tough to stay up the whole 24 hours but I think you can do it lol I can’t do it the weekend they’re scheduled to have it this year.

I can’t do the Day of Blogs because I have babies here that day, and I’ll be lucky if I manage to make a cup of coffee, let alone manage to sign on to a computer more than twice, but I’m posting a link to this on my blog, and sending the link to pretty much everyone I know, so hopefully something will come out of that.

And I’ll be checking in to make sure you’re still awake at least a couple times, lol.

You are the first person I have seen talking about the Blogathon.

I wish I knew earlier.
I will see what I can do to help you get some traffic and raise those donations.

If you could email me a little more info about the blogathon, I will make a post on my blog leading to your blog and give some details as to how you use your blog to bring awareness to your favorite charity. (Wow, I just reread what I wrote and it sounds crazy but, I can not think of how to reword it. LOL!)
Not sure how much help it will be but, I will give it a whirl!

The Victory Junction Gang Camp is a great pick! NASCAR people rock!

I just signed up for it. It will this Saturday – into Sunday, right?
