Me & Jeff - Lindsey's Wedding - 6/2/07
My cousin Jeff moved to Scotland a little less than a year ago. Since then, he married a girl named Katie and they are expecting their first child in February (Congrats!). Jeff arrived Tuesday night for a (surprise) visit. I cooked supper at my folks’ house Thursday night and he came over and we had a really good visit. Before he leaves, we’ll have a big family get-together (which I’m sure will include homemade ice cream and strawberries). Jeff is year younger than me in school (almost a year and a half in age). We were roommates for a couple of years (before he headed to England for grad school). We’ve always been real close growing up. (I’m the oldest grand-child on that side of the family, and he’s the oldest grand-son – no one between us.) It’s so weird to not see him all the time or even talk to him very much. I hope to visit Scotland next year (after the baby is born) with, hopefully, Jeff’s sister and mother.

That is good that he’s made a surprise visit. I hope you get the chance to go visit. I can only imagine how cool and beautiful it will be.
