This year is the inaugural season in northwest Arkansas for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. They are the double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Besides NASCAR, I’m not a professional ball fan. I guess I would consider myself one now, even if it is a minor league team instead of MLB. The Naturals are currently leading the Texas League North standings with a 20-14 second half record.
Shelby and I went to the game last night against the Springfield Cardinals (St Louis Cardinals affiliate). Even with the sun down, it was very hot outside. The wind was blowing but it wasn’t getting to us in our seats. We went upstairs to the suite for the company I work for for a few innings and then headed home. The heat wasn’t the probem at that point. It was the pace of the game. We left after 2 hours and the game was just halfway done. Me having to get up early for the Day of Blogs meant I couldn’t sit at the ballpark until midnight. Otherwise, we would have stayed for the whole game and the fireworks show afterwards.
Here are a couple of photos I have taken this season at Arvest Ballpark.

Hello, I'm Tara. Welcome to my blog! I am a 29 year old from Northwest Arkansas. This blog is for me to share my thoughts on NASCAR, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and anything else I feel like sharing.
