Uncle Jun Jun | NASCAR, the Hogs, & Me

Ok, no I don’t call Dale Earnhardt Jr “Uncle Jun Jun” on a regular basis. The above brick is found in the walkway of the entrance to JR Motorsports. Karsyn & Kennedy are Junior’s nieces.

Dale Earnhardt Jr is my favorite NASCAR driver. Always has been, always will be. I can’t really pinpoint one reason why that is. I think it has to do with his personality on and off the track. He’s sincere. He’s open. (Sometimes the phrase TMI could be used to describe his open-ness.) He’s a good driver. He’s well-respected. The list could go on and on.

Um, I don’t know who my favorite is or why he’s my favorite. (LOL)

I’m supposed to be packing…but instead I am reading your blog! Bad me!

My favorite is Kyle Busch *ducks* (hehe!)…and I like him because he’s good and he knows it!

People can call him cocky, arrogant, full of himself, whatever…people call me that too. But our world would have a lot less trouble if more people had high self-confidence! I’d much rather have too much of it than not enough!

I have to agree with you on Junior’s openness! LOL I too like Junior. A lot has to do with his personality. He’s got a lot of things yes but he doesn’t really act like he’s better then his fans. He’s very down to earth. He also realizes that without us fans he wouldn’t be where he is today either. He’s really just a normal guy that earns a living driving fast for NASCAR. You can tell he truley loves his family too!
