Vegas Bound

I will be spending the week of September 8-12 in Las Vegas.  I’ve never been to Vegas.  The purpose of the trip is to attend the SAP TechEd ’08 conference.  Looking at the agenda, it looks like we will have quite a bit of downtime that I can use to sight-see and even do a little bit of gambling.  (I say a little bit because gambling really doesn’t excite me.  I’d like to do it for a little bit just to say I have.  Beyond that, it doesn’t really interest me.)

So, SAP huh?  You are probably wondering what SAP is, aren’t you?  SAP is a business software application.  The company I work for uses it in multiple areas of their production and management (accounting, purchasing, receiving, maintenance, etc).  My primary job function is to help support one of these areas.  I do system configuration and help serve as a support person when an end user needs assistance.
