I don’t currently have an About Me section on my website and so there are probably many things some of you, my readers, do not yet know about me. I thought I would write a little bit about myself now.
My name is Tara. I’m a 27 year old from northwest Arkansas. I’m not married and have no children at this time. I do have a Dachshund named Gracie, though, that some might think I treat like my own child. I’m very close to my parents and sisters. Lately, I am at my parents’ house at least 2-3 times a week. Me & my sisters started a tradition a couple of years ago of going out to eat once a week. It gives us a time to see one another and catch up.
I love sports. I’m a huge NASCAR fan and a huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. I’m also a fan of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, which is a minor league baseball team for the Kansas City Royals. (This is their first season in NWA. Prior to 2008, they were in Wichita, KS.) I also enjoy watching rodeos and professional bull riding.
I love computers. My job is based around a computer software program called SAP so I’m on the computer all day at work. I get home from work and immediately turn on the MacBook and then am off & on the computer at night.
I love to take photos. You can check out my Flickr site to see the photos I’ve taken.
I love music. I play the piano. I took lessons for several years, starting when I was in 3rd grade. I don’t have a piano in my apartment but I still play occassionally at my parents’ house and at church. My favorite kind of music is country but, if you look at my i-Tunes or CD collection, you will notice that my taste is very varied.
I love to read. I was a horrible reader in school. I don’t mean that in a had-problems-reading kind of a way. It was more a motivation problem. I can sit and read for hours for fun. I was horrible at reading a book when it was required for school, though. My recently read books that I love are The Other Boleyn Girl and the Twilight series.
I’m sure I’ve forgotten to mention something so there may be a Part 2 later in the day. ![]()
