I don’t guess it would be strange for someone I know personally to ask me why I blog. Personal blogging isn’t exactly popular or even well-known in Arkansas. Sure, lots of folks have Myspace’s and Facebook’s and some might even still have Xanga’s but, to me, those are used more for the I “know” so many people aspect of social networking than blogging. I’m not sure exactly why I started a blog in the first place. I created a Xanga quite a while ago because I knew a couple of people with them. I wrote some but not really much of anything. I’m not even really a writer. I loved Math and Science in school – not really English & Social Studies. A couple of years ago, I decided to branch out a bit and created myself a blogger.com blog. As last year progressed, I blogged more and more and began enjoying it more and more. Earlier this year, I decided to take a leap and buy my own domain (tarahog1980.com) and start using WordPress. Karah then created me a lovely layout a while back. Voila! That is where NASCAR, the Hogs, & Me as you officially know it originated. I hope to be blogging here for a long time to come. I love to see my visitor count grow with my post count. It gives me encouragement to keep writing and sharing.
