September 20, 2008 was not a pretty day for Razorback fans. We hosted Alabama and lost 49-14. I don’t think the Razorback Marching Band realized that day that they would be the highlight of the game (for Hog fans). Their halftime show that day was titled “Things That Go Bump in the Night”. It featured a rendition of “Thriller” by Michael Jackson with a special non-musical surprise within the song. They received a pretty good standing ovation for their performance. I found this video of one of their practices of “Thriller”. It’s the best video I’ve seen of the performance. Enjoy!

where’d the video go? I’m surprised at Thriller’s newfound popularity. Our local HS bands have been using it too. My daughter was quite freaked out that I knew all the words to the song – and the dance moves from the video – LOL!!!
