I spent a couple of nights in Branson, Missouri this weekend. Lindsey, Shelby, and our cousin Crysta went with me. We stayed at the Hilton, which is located right on Branson Landing. We had the above view of the Landing’s square from our hotel room balcony.
Saturday morning we shopped at the Landing and ate lunch at Joe’s Crab Shack. After picking up a special Christmas present for our grandparents, we headed to Silver Dollar City.
Here are some pictures of the girls getting hands made of wax. (They each had their hands painted purple & pink and glitter put on them. Unfortunately, I just realized I failed to get photos of the finished product. They are cute, though.)
Shelby & Crysta rode some of the rides that were open (water rides close in the winter, imagine that). We all ate way too much food (including some great s’mores and hot chocolate). Plus, we enjoyed seeing the 40,000,000 Christmas lights. The below pictures are of the Christmas tree in the Silver Dollar City square. It constantly changed colors. Plus, every once in a while, there was a music/light show where the tree would “dance” to the music.
Shelby & Crysta rode a ride called Wildfire. Shelby is the blur in red in this first photo as the ride was starting. A couple of loops the ride goes through are in the final picture.
Here is the slideshow of my entire Branson photo album on Flickr. Enjoy!
