American Idol started a few weeks ago. I love American Idol. I just hate the weeks leading up to the Top 12 competition because they drag on and on. (I especially hate the first few episodes because I want to see actual singers not the best of the worst.) Because of this “hate”, I haven’t really watched the show much at all up to this point. I did finally watch this week. I don’t really have a favorite yet based solely on talent because I’ve only watched one week (where only 3 made it through to the top 12). I do have a personal favorite, though, that I want you all to check out and vote for.
His name is Kris Allen. He’s the lone Arkansan at this point in the competition. Based on what I saw this week, I’m very impressed and excited to see how far he will go. I’ll definitely be casting my votes for him each week. Here was his performance from this week. He sang Man in the Mirror (originally performed by Michael Jackson).
