Is Kris Allen the next American Idol?  That, I do not know.  I do know that he is the current Arkansas Idol.  The Conway native has now advanced to the final 3 in American Idol.  This week Kris & the other two finalists – Danny Gokey & Adam Lambert – returned to their hometowns.  Kris’ return to Arkansas included stops in Little Rock and Conway.

I was able to keep up with Kris’ return on Friday by following Fox16News on Twitter.  It sounds like he had a warm welcome everywhere he went on Friday.  I wish I lived a little closer to Conway so I could have been in the crowd of 20,000 to see him live Friday evening.  I’m thinking Arkansas will always be a tour stop for Kris Allen, though, so I’m sure I’ll get a chance to see him at some point in the future.

Also, as I was reading about Kris’ homecoming, I came across a link to a website called Kris ALLENation.  Check it out!  It’s run by a friend of his, from what I understand.

Kris will be singing “Apologize” by OneRepublic as his judge’s choice song Tuesday night.  Don’t forget to tune in and vote, vote, vote!
