I took the photo above back in January of some of my parents’ damage from the ice storm. During the storm and in the following days, I wondered how the trees would react come springtime.
This is a current picture of the smaller tree on the righthand side in the above photo.
You can see where Dad trimmed all of the branches. It’s amaxing how healthy the tree looks otherwise. It’s nice to see the ice storm didn’t totally kill the trees.

It definitely looks different! You wouldn’t know it was the same tree. Lot less shade this year from that tree.
