In-Flight Update

I’m currently in the middle of a flight from Dallas to Phoenix.  I’ll be spending the week there at SAP TechEd 2009.  (Last year’s event was the reason I went to Las Vegas.)

By the way…In flight WI-FI is awesome.  Haha.  I’m way too reliant upon my computer I figure which is why this excited me so much.

On to Phoenix…I’ll be spending the week there for a conference.  We do hope to do quite a bit of sight-seeing as well.  I’m excited to see Phoenix and the surrounding areas.  I’m thinking there are some great picture taking opportunities.

How is the house coming?  Well, all of the rooms on the 1st floor have been painted.  I’m quite impressed with how different the house looks just by getting a fresh coat of paint everywhere.  I purchased wood laminate flooring to replace carpet in the dining room & master bedroom and then what will be my office upstairs.  Dad started pulling up carpet last night so I’m kind of thinking I might have at least 1 of those 3 rooms completely finished when I return from Phoenix.  I’m really starting to get anxious to start moving things in.  I think I moved most of the stuff I had in my parents’ house on Sunday.  I’m going to start moving my kitchen stuff this weekend since I’m really not spending enough time at my apartment to actually cook.  As soon as I start getting rooms together, I’ll start posting more photos.  I’d like to have before/during/after photos before i post anymore here.

Congratulations to the Arkansas Razorback football team on their win over the #17 Auburn Tigers Saturday!  I’ve heard Ryan Mallett (hog QB) is starting to be seriously considered in the Heisman race.  I’m thinking this year may be his name getting out there and then next year he may have more of a shot.  I guess we’ll see how he does on Saturday against Tim Tebow & the Florida Gators.

Oh wow! I bet that is exciting. I can only imagine…I’d be in heave as well.

Can’t wait to see the pictures. Which room is your office? Which room is meant to the “guest” (*wink*) room?

I can’t wait to hear all about your Phoenix trip, regardless of whether or not it’ll be boring. Have fun!
