After keeping up with Karah’s efforts in Blogathon 2007, I thought that it would be nice to participate in 2008.  Blogathon, as it had previously been known, was on a short hiatus but Day of Blogs was born from a desire of some of the Blogathon participants to still carry on the tradition in 2008.  For those that aren’t familiar with Blogathon or Day of Blogs, it is a fundraiser where the participants post at least 1 new blog entry every 30 minutes for 24 hours straight.  While I didn’t get a very big head start on my fund raising efforts, I was able to raise some money to support the Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, NC.  I appreciate everyone that supported my effort both financially and mentally (by posting comments and giving me encouragement through the day).  I’m already looking forward to 2009.
