This is my 100th post here at http://www.tarahog1980.com. I officially started blogging here on April 13, 2008. That computes to appx 1.6 posts per day. (The analyst in me had to do that computation.)
I’m still not good at blogging consistently. I think I blog more about traveling or special events than the goings-on in my day-to-day life. I have enjoyed writing on this site, though, and I hope to do several, several more posts in the coming days/weeks/months/etc. Here’s to 100 more!
I just got home from my sister’s & bro-in-law’s house up in Missouri (about an hour away). My mom & I made a flying trip up there after work for supper and, most importantly for my mom, to see Lindsey’s various flowers she has in her yard.
I created a new page last night on my blog called Day of Blogs 2008. You can find its link over on the right hand side in the Around My Site section. It gives a brief introduction to the Day of Blogs and then has a list of the posts I made relating to it this year.
Speaking of Day of Blogs 2008…The unofficial amount posted on the event’s website is that $11,543 was raised for various charities.
Also, Karah helped me out again tonight and made a way for users to navigate back to the main blog page from anywhere within my blog (instead of having to hit the back button or start completely over). So, when you go looking around my blog at all of my various entries or read about my Day of Blogs, you can click on Home and voila you’ll be back to the main page. Come on, admit it. I know this excites you. 
It is a little after 11 and I’m thinking the bed is calling my name. I have two more days of work this week and this it’s party time! Well, not really. I can’t think of anything I have planned for this weekend, except relaxation and a bit of time in the pool (which will also more than likely mean a sunburn but that’s not anything new). I don’t know why but Toby Keith’s How do you like me now? popped in my head as I was starting this entry. If you haven’t visited my blog today, you are missing out. Karah redesigned it for me. My favorite part is the banner at the top she made using some of the photos I’ve taken. I’ll probably play around with some of the links and such over the next couple of days so bear with me but, other than that, it is basically designed and set up the way its gonna be. I hope you all enjoy it!

Beginning tomorrow night, my grandmother & I are going to be having a bit of a slumber party every night for a little while. She is getting to the age and health where it is difficult for her to stay by herself. My dad (her son) has been staying with her for a while now (at least a month, I believe). He is having minor surgery on Wednesday morning and won’t be able to stay with Nana for the time being. Because of that, I’m going to be staying with her.
For those you that are my online friends, I might be a bit MIA after work because she doesn’t have any sort of an internet connection (and I refuse dial-up these days). I’ll get online when I can and post updates. (On the left-hand side of my blog, there is a “Find Me Online” section. While I may not be able to post new blog entries every night, you might find me in some of those other areas during the day and maybe even at night.)
