The 2008 Holiday Season has officially started for me.

Thanksgiving started on Thursday.  We had a potluck Thanksgiving dinner at work for lunch.  My mom helped me make dressing to take.  Because of the lack of oven at work, I tried cooking it in a crockpot.  Except for the fact that I had to get up at 4 am to start it, it turned out very good.  (I was afraid it wouldn’t get done enough and we’d have gooey dressing.)  I must say that smelling dressing cooking for 7 hours was wonderful but the wait was killing me because of how good it smelled.

Christmas starts today.  We are going to my mom’s parents’ house this afternoon to decorate for Christmas (decorate her tree & hang the Christmas lights on the front porch).  Tomorrow, we are going back to their house to decorate Christmas cookies.  We had so much fun last year that we decided to do it again.
